Welcome to McKenna Community Church's
Homeschool Co-op

This educational co-op has been developed by a group of homeschooling families who call McKenna Community Church their home. Families and adult volunteers meet once a week, during the school year, to develop understanding in core academic classes and creative electives that help develop confidence, life skills, understanding of the arts, athletics, and much more. Classes are offered to students ranging from Pre-school - High school.
This co-op is only offered for those who attend McKenna Community Church regularly

Field Trips are also a way throughout the year that we explore, learn, & Grow.

We believe that in taking our children on field trips, we allow our students the opportunity to collaborate with their peers, explore new environments, make connections, problem solve, develop trust, and empathize with other cultures or people groups.

Throughout the course of being an established co-op for over a decade, we have visited a lot of places that have ignited an excitement for learning that has stuck with our students even after graduation.

Some places we have explored are...

the ape caves | ice skating | hiking at national parks | animal encounters | pumpkin patches

"When comparing my educational experience with others, I am thankful for being taught from Christ centered teachers, courses, and friends, who have helped me grow and kept me accountable in my faith"
